Solomon & Company (St Helena) Plc is recruiting Shop Floor Assistants to work on a fixed-term basis over the festive period, from 16 to 24 December 2026, at The Star, Greenlands and Warrens Wholesale.
The role will involve supporting the day-to-day running of the stores and providing a high standard of customer service.
Rate of pay: £4.85 per hour
What we’re looking for:
Responsible and trustworthy
Good customer service skills
Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Able to undertake physically demanding and manual handling duties
Flexible and able to work the required shifts
Willing to assist with pricing, shelf stacking and general shop cleaning
Able to carry out other duties as required by Management
Please note:
Applicants must be resident on St Helena
Applicants must be at least 15 years old at the time of applying
Successful applicants will be responsible for arranging their own home-to-duty transport
