Road Tanker Driver / Relief Watchkeeper

Solomon & Company (St Helena) Plc is seeking a Road Tanker Driver / Relief Watchkeeper to join the Bulk Fuel Installation team.

In this role you will be responsible for loading and delivering fuel to clients, supporting Watchkeepers when required, assisting with general maintenance duties, and helping with Ship-to-Shore tanker operations.

Salary: £11,100 per annum (£213 per week)

What we’re looking for:

• A clean and valid Class J4 driver’s licence

• Familiarity with the safe loading, transport and dispensing of bulk fuel (desirable)

• Basic competency in Maths and English

• Ability to work shift patterns and unsocial hours

• Strong Health & Safety awareness, particularly in a fuels environment

• Knowledge of safe fuel handling practices (desirable)

• Comfortable working with hazardous substances and environments

• Ability to assist with general maintenance duties

• Good physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual handling tasks
