Solomon & Company (St Helena) Plc is seeking a General Assistant (Day Ops)/Relief Driver to work within the Bakery on a part-time basis.
The role involves working flexibly across different areas of the Bakery, including packaging bakery products, cleaning equipment and facilities, assisting with production processes and carrying out delivery driving duties as required, while maintaining excellent customer service.
Salary: £6,241 per annum (£120.12 per week) – 21 hours per week
What we’re looking for:
Knowledge of Food & Hygiene, HACCP and Health & Safety
Basic numeracy and literacy skills
A clean and valid Class D driver’s licence
Ability to undertake manual handling and repetitive tasks
Good time management, organisational and observational skills
Competence in operating production equipment
Ability to undertake cash handling during deliveries
Ability to carry out cleaning duties to required standards
Willingness to assist with production processes
Energetic, reliable and able to work well within a team
Ability to work unusual hours and multitask in a fast-paced environment
