Financial Services Manager

Solomon & Company (St Helena) Plc is seeking a Financial Services Manager to lead the Finance Department and join the Company’s Corporate Management Team.

In this high-profile leadership role, you will oversee the delivery of financial services across the Company, providing strategic financial advice, ensuring robust financial management, and supporting effective governance while upholding the Company’s Purpose & Values.

Salary: Competitive (based on qualifications and experience)

What we’re looking for:

• At least 5 years’ professional experience in a financial field
• 3–5 years’ experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting and accounting
• Experience preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
• Experience preparing annual financial statements for audit
• Knowledge of accounting systems, internal controls and financial procedures (Access Dimensions experience desirable)
• CCAB qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Financial leadership or management qualification/accreditation
• Strong analytical, budgeting and strategic planning skills
• Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance and risk management
• Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
• High level of integrity with the ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment
