Ad Hoc Grocery Sales Assistants

Solomon & Company (St Helena) Plc is seeking Ad Hoc Grocery Sales Assistants to join the team at Half Tree Hollow Supermarket.

In this role, you will support the day-to-day running of the supermarket, provide excellent customer service, and assist with a range of store operations. Working hours will primarily be on Saturdays, with the potential for Sunday work when required.

Rate of pay: £4.69 per hour

What we’re looking for:
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Customer-focused with a target-driven approach
• Experience in a customer-facing environment with strong customer service skills
• Competency in Maths, English and IT
• Experience in cash handling, ideally including EPOS tills and local debit card payments
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to undertake manual handling and physically demanding tasks
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
