Road Tanker Driver / Relief Watchkeeper

Solomon & Company (St Helena) Plc is seeking a Road Tanker Driver / Relief Watchkeeper to join the Bulk Fuel Installation team.

In this role, you will assist with fuel loading and deliveries, fuel transfers between storage tanks, Ship-to-Shore tanker operations, and support Watchkeepers and maintenance activities as required. You will also be responsible for completing operational documentation accurately.

Salary: £11,100 per annum (£213 per week)

What we’re looking for:

• A clean and valid Class J4 driver’s licence

• Familiarity with the safe loading, transport and dispensing of bulk fuel (desirable)

• Basic competency in Maths and English

• Ability to work shift patterns and unsocial hours

• Strong Health & Safety awareness, particularly in a fuels environment

• Knowledge of safe fuel handling practices (desirable)

• Comfortable working with hazardous substances and environments

• Ability to assist with general maintenance duties

• Good physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual handling tasks
